STRUCTURED LINES.

I haven't done an outfit post in a while as the typical British weather has been so disappointing, which unfortunately makes it hard to shoot decent photos! I've had to make do with using the indoors of my house on this one, apologies for the bad quality.

I got these shoes through the post this morning which I am so pleased about! I found them on eBay not long back and fell in love! I'm loving ankle strap/pointy shoes at the moment and with a slight wedge on these, I can wear them anytime and anywhere! They're so comfy and chic, and being blue, I can add a splash of colour to my outfits. They were around £25 and available in white too! Click here for the link.

NEW GOODIES.

My favourite kind of shops are when I come home with cute, random goodies that I didn't plan to buy. On Saturday I had a quick pop to my local town to get a few essentials, and in the meantime, I found some great bargains that I couldn't resist on buying. Although I study in London, I am now back for the Summer in my hometown Ipswich. Our shopping centre isn't the best of places, so when I find some good buys I am left extremely happy!

  • 17 Miracle Matte Pressed Powder: Boots - Because I have dry skin, I need to use a moisturising foundation. The only liquid foundations that work on my skin leave a very glossy/dewy finish which leaves my looking like a shine-ball unless I blot it with a good powder! I've been looking for a nice powder for a while that is long-lasting and looks great. As I go through this stuff like there's no tomorrow, I have been searching for an effective pressed powder at a reasonable price. This one is great. It really lasts all day and leaves a flawless finish without drying out my skin. It costs around the £3 mark.
  • 17 Stay Time Concealer: Boots - There was a buy one get one half price deal in Boots this weekend, so when I picked up the powder, it was only right to find another product to complete the deal! I also use so much concealer. I don't suffer in major breakouts, but I like to use a good brightening concealer to highlight under my eyes every morning. This one does just that and it was a great price too - £3.
  • Lancome Flash Bronzer: Debenhams - I am a fake tan addict. I'm not a fan of putting regular self tan on my face as I don't think this is overly good for my skin and also it never seems to work that well. I've heard great things about Flash Bronzer, so when I saw it reduced from £23 to £13 I had to get it! It really does work very well. It is a gel base that can be used as an every day moisturiser due to its vitamin E ingredients. I put it on under my makeup to let it work its magic throughout the day. I really love it and it is longer lasting than other fake tans used on the face.
  • Vita Liberata Tinted Self Tan: Debenhams - This is the fake tan I always use. I have tried and tested A LOT of fake tans and this is hands down the best one for me. It is made from 100% all natural and organic ingredients so is very moisturising and kind to the skin. The colour is very golden and sun-kissed, streak free and the fade is very even too. I don't experience any scaly or patchy fade marks with this product, unlike every other tan I have previously used. I really recommend this tan to all the fake tanners out there - I promise you wont be disappointed! They have a range of products to suit every kind of person. This was also reduced in Debenhams from £23 to £18!
  • Black Wedges: Primark - Yes Primark! I love these kinds of sandals at the moment as they are so cute from the summer, they are comfy and they give me that little extra boost of height! When I saw these at the price of £10, there was no way I was going to leave without them. I'm super happy with this purchase!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Thank you for all of your comments - I do take them on board and read every one. Please leave your blogs and I will check them out too!

OUTFIT POST.

SILKY CHAINZ.

Hey guys! Sorry this is a pretty rushed and poor outfit post. It isn't the most flattering shot of me but hey - it's all about the outfit! It seems as though I can't get out of my H&M flatforms! Not only are they super cool and versatile, they are so comfy and great just to slip on when in a rush. I've just bought a new pair of black wedges quite similar which I shall post up tomorrow - they were only £10! Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

JUNE'S GLOSSYBOX.

It's one of my favourite times of the month - coming home to find my box of girly goodies has been delivered. This is now my third Glossybox, and after being so satisfied with the last two issues, I've been dying to find out what I would receive in June's.

I am what people call a beauty junkie. I have stashes of beauty products which I buy, try and then shove in my continuously overflowing drawers, hoping to find an excuse to justify buying the next best thing. I have to say, that with these monthly boxes of surprises, the products I have tried and tested are amazing and they most certainly do not get shoved away and forgotten. Another thing I love about the products is that they are worth more than the £12 I spend each month for the subscription. They are also all mainly made with natural ingredients which are kind to your skin and health - something I am quite big on.

In this months Glossybox I received:
  • Figs & Rouge Cherry Blossom Lip Balm - which is so soft on the lips and a gorgeous colour. It is also packed with antioxidants, not to mention it smells delicious too!
  • Organic Surge Moisture Boost Conditioner - this also smells amazing and is perfect for me as I love conditioning my hair, especially with organic products.
  • GOSH Growth Mascara - The wand on this is great and it really lengthens the lashes. I haven't used it enough to see if it actually makes your lashes grow but I have heard great things and I will be sure to let you know!
  • MeMeMe Nail Polish - lovely shade, especially for Summer toes!
  • Monu Hand and Nail Cream - which is a professional skincare product and full of lovely moisturising ingredients including coconut and essential oils. I put this on at night to keep my hands and nails moisturised.
If you haven't checked out Glossybox yet then I 100% recommend it! Even if you just do one month to see what you think, you get more than your moneys worth and you're left with some really lovely products. Awesome gift ideas too. You can subscribe to Glossybox here.

THANK GOD FOR GIVENCHY.

GIVENCHY COUTURE FALL 2011

Ok so I know I'm pretty late with this collection and I'm not overly sure why I haven't discovered it sooner, especially considering Givenchy is one of my favourite labels of all time. But hey - better late then never. I needed to put this collection on my blog to share with all the fashion lovers out there, who like me, have not had the chance to have previously appreciated this collection. It is absolutely AMAZING. Words cannot describe my passion and love towards the intricate and pure details Riccardo Tisci has created on these gowns. The textures, the fabrics, the silhouettes are all perfect, embracing femininity and enhancing the beautiful womanly figure in such a delicate way. Because of this collection, the expectations of my future wedding dress have automatically risen.

I hope you were all as stunned with this collection as I was. You can check out more of Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy here

EBAY'S FINEST: SHOES.

I have always been a complete bargain hunter, even before I discovered the incredible Ebay. For as long as I remember I would always find cheaper alternatives to being fashionable - because that way I can buy more! However since becoming an Ebay addict, I have somewhat become a pro at finding great trendy buys at unbeatable prices. The trick is to look around and not bid on or buy the first item you see. Know what you want and the best ways to search for it - i.e. using the advanced search tool or key words.
I thought I would have a browse to find some bargain-priced fashionable shoes, and in the process I have managed to put a collage together of my favourites to share with my readers. (Please click on the descriptions to be linked to the page and please note that the prices do not include postage and packaging) Enjoy!

MAY'S INSTAGRAM.

We are so lucky to have the power to reach out to a number of different audiences through todays advanced social media, and Instagram is definitely one of my favourites. For me, it is a great way to source awesome imagery and inspiration - not forgetting stalking my favourite celebs and fashionistas! Over the past year I have become super addicted to uploading an image based diary of my day-to-day life through the touch of my iPhone, aspiring to inspire others and to gather some pretty memories. Since my account has become more fashion based, and slightly more appealing, I have decided to post a brief summery of my fave Instagram uploads throughout the last month - enjoy!

If you like what you see - check out my profile!

OUTFIT POST.

LIFE'S A BREEZE.

Wow another outfit post AND a an outfit with colour! I'm doing good! This is just something light I shoved on today to keep me cool in the heat. I wanted to share this one because I've had this blazer/top/jacket for quite a while now and I don't think I will ever get bored of it (despite the fact my boyfriend says I look like I work in a supermarket every time I wear it). It was £2 from a charity shop a few years back and a bloomin good purchase if I say so myself - I always get comments when I wear it. Usually, I wear it open like a jacket over a vest top, but today I decided to wear it differently. I'm kind of lovin the oversized look. Overall this is a good look for summer at a bargain price!

OUTFIT POST.

DREAMING AND CELINE-ING.

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get out and take some good photos for a new outfit post so I thought these were better than nothing. Surprise surprise it's another monochrome outfit! I ordered a Celine tee off eBay nearly 2 months ago and it never arrived, so I ended up ordering a new one and it finally came through the post today! I absolutely love it, and at £8 including p+p, it's an absolute bargain. I fancied a really simple outfit today so I've paired the top with these shorts and sandals and jazzed it up a bit with some classic RayBan aviators and my favourite gold chain.
